The u-OS Datahub connects software in machine and plant engineering, renewable energy, agriculture and building technology. It mediates between apps and services. The data hub therefore makes it easier for users to exchange data packages between apps and connect software. Standardised interfaces open up new possibilities: Users assign data and services to applications on the intuitive user interface. No special programming knowledge is required.

UR20 3EM Modules - New energy measurement modules for the u-remote I/O system

Monitor energy flows precisely using converters or Rogowski coils

The new u-remote modules are used in particular in automation and energy technology where precise energy measurements are required. They record and monitor energy flows including a wide range of electrical measured values in electrical systems. Using transducers or Rogowski coils, the modules measure electrical values and make them available in the fieldbus network or the control system. The modules enable measurement circuits for up to 128 measured values, which users can parameterise and visualise via the u-remote web server.

I/O system u-remote - CAN gateway

Integrate field devices with CAN interface into higher-level networks

The CAN gateways are used in industrial environments, particularly in factory and plant automation. They are the interface between field devices with CAN bus according to CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B and a higher-level network or fieldbus system. The gateway translates communication protocols and thus connects CAN field devices to a superimposed network or field bus. The selectable u-remote fieldbus coupler allows users to integrate the CAN devices into 10 different communication protocols.

PROCON-Connect enables industrial users to realise their IIoT use cases. The machine data is collected, pre-processed and can be communicated to the cloud, for example. The tool uses industrial protocols and communication drivers, which can be configured intuitively in the browser. PROCON-Connect enables users to generate added value from their data and relies on common standards such as InfluxDB and MQTT.

Regression analysis - Energy management according to ISO 50006

Extension for our ResMa® energy management software

Regression analysis is used in production and energy management to evaluate dependencies in production and consumption data. Knowledge of these factors allows well-founded investment decisions to be made in order to reduce consumption costs or increase quality. In accordance with ISO 50006, production and consumption data can be analysed and compared over time. The regression models take up to 20 variables into account and can be conveniently visualised and analysed in the browser.

Managing recipes - with the ResMa® energy management system

With ResMa® recipe management, users monitor and manage industrial production at the level of an MES system. The software easily compiles production parameters in the form of recipes so that they can be easily managed and analysed. Recipes are created based on data points and rolled out to production systems. The tool supports comparisons, variants and visualisation.

Deploy ML models independently of hardware and operating systems

edgeML makes it possible to integrate ML models into automation in a particularly easy and flexible way – regardless of the hardware. And this is completely independent of the hardware. The tool uses machine learning to continuously and efficiently monitor systems or processes directly at the machine. Users import and manage ML models via the web interface using drag & drop. REST APIs and PROCON-Connect form interfaces to the system. The Docker-based solution is hardware-independent and enables simple, flexible integration of ONNX-based ML models into automation.

Up to one kilometre range with two-wire copper cable

The 10Base-T1L Single Pair Ethernet Switch forwards data in various automation technology applications and in other industries. It transmits data and power in industrial networks securely and quickly. It covers distances of up to 1000 metres. Thanks to SPE technology, the switch connects sensors and actuators to an Ethernet network via two-wire cables. The 10Base-T1L supports PoDL classes 10 to 14 and fulfils all PROFINET Conformance Class A requirements.

The unmanaged switches forward data packets in system control networks. They are particularly suitable for demanding environments. Four gigabit ports enable separate networks. A powerful processor guarantees high data rates. The u-sense wired sensors monitor machines and continuously check their condition. They record raw signals that are generated on the machine and process them in real time. They register the vibrations using micro-electromechanical acceleration sensors. u-sense is an open system and forwards information directly to higher-level data processing systems.
