Weidmüller, a leading provider of products and solutions for electrical connections and automation technology, announces the market launch of its latest power measurement modules for the u-remote I/O system. The four modules offer precise measurements, higher accuracy and seamless integration into existing automation systems.
Weidmüller is introducing a new unmanaged switch with Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) connection. The switches raise the performance of industrial applications to a new level. The SPE technology increases the range of the internet connection and at the same time the two-wire cables enable parallel power transmission.
Weidmüller is expanding the u-OS operating system with the Data Hub. The Data Hub networks different applications installed on u-OS with one another. This makes it easier for users to make use of variables and make variables from one application visible to another.
Weidmüller launches the PROCON-Connect App. The software tool enables users to easily capture machine data, pre-process it and make it available to other applications. This simplifies data exchange and speeds up installation.
The new edgeML machine learning solution from Weidmüller works independently of cloud and internet access. Learning algorithms can now run directly at the edge – whether in the form of a PLC or IPC. Moreover, the software is available as a Docker container. This means that edgeML is manufacturer-independent and can be used on all standard industrial controllers that support the execution of Docker containers.
