The electronics and connection technology company Weidmüller has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for its exceptional commitment to sustainability for the second consecutive year.
The Weidmüller Group is strengthening its first management level as of 01/10/2024: Dr Sebastian Durst, previously Chief Operations Officer, is taking over the newly created position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Furthermore, Weidmüller is relying on continuity and experienced, internal personnel to fill the other Executive Board positions.
Weidmüller announces that the Hamburg-based Joachim Herz Foundation has acquired a stake in the company as part of a capital increase. The foundation now holds approximately 20 percent of the shares in the family-owned company. This investment aims at long-term corporate development and accelerated growth.
